Minutes from December were read. Minutes were amended to include mention of the classification hearing of December 11. Minutes accepted.
Signed two motor vehicle abatements and corresponding treasurer forms.
Agreed to submit dues to Mass chapter of IAAO
In making the decision to have maps 104 and 106 drawn as they are taxed, without the subdivision, the Board needed to decide whether or not to maintain the roads within the drawing. The Board has decided to remove the roads.
Tunxis Club has submitted a drawing of proposed lots on Clubhouse Road along with a building permit for one of those lots. A letter will be sent to the Tunxis Club requesting the property be appropriately surveyed so that the parcels can be added to the town maps and that they make it clear which lot has been improved upon.
A letter was received from a FY06 abatement applicant. The board has reviewed that applicant’s complaint and feels that with 25 to 45% of like properties viewed within the past year, the applicant has been given fair attention.
